  7. 3This is a new disc based magazine that has been ported over
  8. 3from the Amiga by Dr Doggie Phd.(c. Eng.)!!!
  9. 3It’s fun and has nothing to do with computers.  It’s full of
  10. 3crazy articles and the odd serious one.  The graphics are very
  11. 3good and I can recommend it 100%.

  16. 3This is even better than the first issue. The graphics are
  17. 3outstanding and the articles are varied and some very funny.

  22. 3Another great issue.  As with Lunchtime II it is archived.
  23. 3You will have to transfer the contents of this disc on to two
  24. 3new discs.  The start up screen is both superb and impressive.
  25. 3The articles are up to their usual standard with a good mix of
  26. 3subjects, humour and excellent graphics.

  31. 3They have done it again a brilliant mix of sound graphics and
  32. 3some very good articles.  Remember none of the articles have
  33. 3got a computing theme.  Putting it on disc is just a very
  34. 3friendly thing to do.

  36. 3This issue is archived and comes with the first issue on the
  37. 3same disc.

  42. 3Opinions is a disc based magazine for users of the Acorn
  43. 3Archimedes, A3000 and A5000.  As far as I am aware, it is the
  44. 3only truly Public Domain (ie all issues are PD not just the
  45. 3first one) magazine which is all about the Acorn RISC-OS range.
  46. 3This is the first and second issue on one disc. It contains
  47. 3news, reviews, and Public Domain information and some very good
  48. 3graphics screens.

  50. 3It is produced by Linton Dawe.  As with all Lintons’ projects
  51. 3I am sure this will be another outstanding success.

  56. 3The third issue of this interesting disc magazine.  This issue
  57. 3features the following subjects:

  59. 3Sound output on the Archimedes and how to improve it - Games
  60. 3and PD reviews - DTP and Fonts and more great graphics.

  62. 3If you would like to voice any of your opinions on any aspect
  63. 3of the Archimedes scene then send Linton an article.

  68. 3The fourth issue of this great magazine.  This issue covers
  69. 3the following:

  71. 3!TheMag! is the main magazine, !Colour! contains some pretty
  72. 3graphics screens and !ThePD! contains some of the public domain
  73. 3software mentioned in the P.D. pages.  As with other issues it
  74. 3is well put together and easy to use.

  80. 3This is by a very large margin the best PD disc magazine.
  81.  
  82. 3It contains 100K of text files which include an editorial,
  83. 3articles on software, hints ‘n’ tips on Amiga to Arc software
  84. 3transfer, cheat on Enter the Realm and how to get the best
  85. 3from !Paint.

  87. 3Info on sound and multimedia with details on how to contribute
  88. 3to the magazine.

  90. 3Information on graphics, this issue deals with Mandelbrots,
  91. 3Quantums MegaDemo and words of wisdom from Narc, Quantum’s
  92. 3graphics man.
  93. 3The first part of a great sci-fi story called Venera.
  94.  
  95. 3Not only do you get these well written articles with a neat
  96. 3front end and with lots of music, four in total, a different
  97. 3tune with each major part of the magazine.  But it also has
  98. 3a great game called SYLPH.  This was written by Tom Cooper and
  99. 3is a up market version of Jet Set Willy, fly around with your
  100. 3rocket back pack and blast the nasties and collect the goodies.
  101. 3To top all this off the magazine also includes a great flight
  102. 3simulator called 1914.  Fly your World War 1 plane and destroy
  103. 3the enemies airfields and planes.  Great.

  105. 3As I have said above this is the best magazine for the Acorn
  106. 3range of super computers.  You will require 2megs or more the
  107. 3archived file contains over 1300k of interesting articles and
  108. 3top class software designed to give you hours of fun.

  118. 3¤  The ChapterHouse. Loads of cheat modules.

  120. 3¤  Many pictures accompanying the articles.
  121. 3¤  Extra tracker + symphony modules + ray trace file + Jpeg file
  122. 3+jpeg reader + speed utility etc.

  127. 3The first issue of Entropy by P. Lurcock & P. Taphouse. It was
  128. 3produced using MEditate v.3.31 The Magazine Editor from the crew
  129. 3who produce the Lunchtime magazine.
  130. 3You are given a choice of music, or none at all and there are
  131. 3articles on Nova Paint, the Oak recorder to name but two.
  132. 3A good first issue.
